Is your PC or laptop functional but not performing like it used to? Proper maintenance on your PC or laptop is critical in order to prevent unnecessary larger problems down the road. For one low price, we keep your PC or laptop running smoothly by optimizing your system for faster performance. We perform necessary maintenance steps for your PC or laptop, including hard drive diagnostics/defragmentation and installation of Microsoft Windows® critical/security updates. We also check your PC or laptop for problems and will advise you on the best course of action for repair if problems are found. To keep your computer protected from virus threats, we also include installation of a free antivirus software program at no additional cost.

Software Installation or Repair
We install any compatible new or upgrade software title you choose, including any available updates. Having trouble with an existing program already installed on your PC or laptop? We can fix it. The price listed is per installation of one software title per individual PC or laptop.

Hardware Installation
We install new internal or external hardware compatible with your system along with associated software drivers and programs. The price listed is per hardware component installation. Examples include: network card, memory, video card, hard drive, printer, etc.

Data Transfer
New, larger hard drive installed? New PC set up to replace the old, outdated system? Now it's time to transfer your data files, and we can help. This service is for transferring individual data files and folders from one functional storage device to another.
Price: $29. (per 2 GB of data transferred)

PC/Laptop Setup
This service is for the complete setup of a PC or laptop, including monitor, keyboard, mouse, power options, and related cabling - properly dressed and bundled. We install and configure all included system software and connect your new system to the Internet, provided that there is an existing connection (DSL, cable, etc.). Once the entire system setup is complete, we test to ensure that all components are fully functional. Please see our "Hardware Installation" service for installing other additional hardware components during the same setup.

Operating System Installation
A Technical Advisor installs the version of Microsoft Windows® that is appropriate for you and your computer. New installations or upgrades.

A Technical Advisor performs a series of tests and diagnostic procedures in order to determine the root cause of the computer problem that you are experiencing. Once the cause of the problem has been determined and documented, we advise you on the best course of action for repair.

Wireless Security Setup
It's a fact: many wireless networks are not secure. Protect your privacy and the confidentiality of your network. We determine security flaws and make the necessary corrections to your existing configuration to best secure your wireless network.

A Technical Advisor will add a single device and configure it to function with your existing network. Examples include: networked computer (with NIC installed), wireless router, print server, range extender, etc.

Network Troubleshooting & Repair
Having trouble with your existing network in your home or office? InControl Technical can troubleshoot and resolve network problems as well as suggest best practices for securing your existing network. Network size limit up to 5 networked devices on the entire network (computers, servers, printers, routers, etc.). Please add $29. for each additional networked device on the same network.

Entire Home/Office Network Installation
Safely and securely set up a wireless network in your home or office to share your Internet connection with multiple computers, share printers, and share files between computers. Limit up to 5 networked devices on the same network (computers, printers, routers, range extenders, etc.). Included with this service is a free preliminary network consultation guaranteeing a professional network installation from the very first step.
